Synopsis: When Captain Sean-Luc Picard discovers a portal to another galaxy, things heat up as the Borg and the Empire join forces to destroy the Rebellion - and the Enterprise - once and for all. To make matters worse, the Alliance is powerless against the advanced technology of the Borg. Will the Borg Queen get her revenge? Will C3-PO betray the Rebel Alliance and turn to the dark side? The Rebellion and the Enterprise must work together to stop the seemingly unstoppable Borg Empire in this cross-over of Star Wars and Star Trek.
We worked on Attack of the Drones on and off for about three years. I admit that there have been several periods of no work at all on it during this time, but that's not to say that this wasn't a huge undertaking. My friend, 'Root Beer Studios,' helped with this project; he did several voices, as well as some of the sound editing, and co-directed. Originally, the film was planned to be about 15 minutes long, but over time it grew to be just over 30 minutes.

Running Time: 30 minutes, 21 seconds

The Making of Attack of the Drones
If you're interested in how we made Attack of the Drones, I've written a short doc on how we made it, from scripting to sets to special effects.
Trailer
Realplayer (3.5 MB, 640x480)
This is a brief teaser trailer I made in summer of 2003. I laugh when I watch it now, because of the release date at the end.
Movie Posters
Poster 1
It's a parody of the First Contact poster. Note the lego enterprise. This doesn't have much star wars, except for the sillouhette of stormtroopers at the lower right.
Poster 2
And this one is a parody of the Empire Strikes Back, displaying the new slogan "An adventure too big for one galaxy..." I like this one better than the one above it, because it has more Star Wars.
