Welcome to the images page formerly known as the gallery. So far the page contains some test renders and LEGO customs I've made in my spare time. Some files are hosted on Brickshelf, while others are hosted on my own (slow) hosting, so be patient. Enjoy!
Artwork
Some artwork I've made. Not all of it is LEGO related. They're primarily images that I made for fun, though I've put my LDraw scene of the month entries here too.
Maelstrom
Based on a scene from Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in which the Nautilus is being pulled in by a maelstrom.
The Black Stream
Another scene from the book, this one of the Nautilus in the Black Stream (which does not quite live up to its name.)
The White Witch's Courtyard
Edmund walks through the the white witch's courtyard, which contains a collection of 'statues.' This image won the LDraw.org Scene of the Month competition for January 2006.
The Lightpost
Lucy sees the lightpost as she first enters Narnia. Mr. Tumnus barely visible, behind the post. I did not actually enter this one to the LDraw competition, and instead entered "The White Witch's Courtyard."
Brickzilla
Brickzilla roars in triumph over the smoldering ruins of Toykyo. One of my entries for the Scene of the Month competition, but it didn't win.
Utopia
My first space picture, made in Cararra and PhotoDeluxe
Supernova
Another picture made with the same software, this time of a supernova.
Vortex
One of my most unique works, it was the second picture I made of this type.
Vortex II
After a long time of not making any of this type of artwork, I started up again, this time with better technique and software. This one is completely 2D. My only regret is that it seems a little too dense and busy.
SpaceScape
My first picture to have a 2D planet with clouds and water.
Alone
A barren ice planet.
LEGO Customs
These are some LEGO customs I've made. So far they're just star trek.
Intrepid/Voyager Class Instructions
Detailed visual instructions I've made for building a custom Star Trek Voyager style ship. It has a brief cameo in Attack of the Drones.
Star Trek TNG minifigures
Custom Star Trek: The Next Generation minifigures, including Picard, Data, Worf, Crusher, Troy, and the Borg Queen.
LEGO CAD
Some stuff I made using LDraw and 3D software.
Asteroid Chase
This is a frame out of the asteroid chase sequence in AotD.
Jango Fett Figure Jango Fett CG Test
Early Tests for Duel at Kamino. These were for the cg minifigure double, which was never used in the final movie. (However, the jet pack was used in a couple shots where it's flying.)
Calamari Cruiser
This is a mlcad model of a mon calamari cruiser I built. It can be seen in the space battle at the end of Attack of the Drones.
Borg Cubes
A borg cube cg background shot. This is what Vader and the office are looking at in the opening scene of "Attack of the Drones." Note the studs on the tops.
The Millenium Falcon
"Millenium Falcon Beauty Shot." No, actually, it's just a test of how the astroids (And the Falcon) should look. This is from a scene that may or may not make it into the final movie. If you want it for your wallpaper, here's a high res version. I modeled the ship in mlcad, and made the asteroids, then rendered it all in Carrara Studio 2.
