Brick Animation Resources

Bricks in Motion is an online community devoted to the art of stop-motion animation. Most of our films, often called brickfilms or LEGO movies, are created using LEGOŽ and other plastic brick building toys. In addition to an active community forum for filmmaking, this site is home to an ever-growing directory of films submitted by users.

The primary website for "brickfilming." There is an active community that can be very helpful if you have any questions about the hobby, as well as a large film directory. Also a good place to find films by other directors. I am the administrator of this site as well.

www.BrickLink.com A great site to buy specific LEGO pieces, consisting of thousands of individual sellers. This is cheaper than buying a whole set to get a few pieces from it. I have used this site several times to buy parts for my films.

www.BrickShelf.com A site that hosts LEGO related images.  In the past they have hosted movies on and off, but I wouldn't recommend such an unreliable host, as they allow downloading of videos only very rarely every few months.  Can't complain too much though; it is free.

Stop-Motion Resources

www.AnimateClay.com The site where you can download the popular, free Anasazi motion-capture program.

www.SoundDogs.com A site with thousands of sounds effects.

Miscellaneous

www.RinkWorks.com I have no connection to this site, but I just think it's a really great humor website and thought I'd share it.
